“My husband and I were a little apprehensive about having dental work done in Vietnam, as I’d been to see a specialist in Australia prior to making an appointment with Dr. Hung. The first thing this specialist did was to give me a lecture on all the reasons not to have dental work done in Asia (I hadn’t even mentioned this was what I was considering!) and gave me a very negative prognosis due to the fact I have gum disease and quite significant bone loss and am 68 years old.
Having already booked our trip to Vietnam, we decided that we’d only visit Dr. Hung for an assessment. Incidentally, this was ALL my husband (age 72) had agreed to, he wasn’t having any work done!
The clinic itself was absolutely spotless and hygienic, with state of the art equipment, equal to anything in the world. We were greeted and treated in a friendly, positive and professional manner by Dr. Hung and his team, who presented us with prognosis, options, time frame and total cost. It took us 5 seconds to make up our minds!
As we hadn’t really planned on treatment, we had limited time in Vietnam ie 2 days when we arrived, then went off to China for 9 days, returning to Vietnam for 5 more days. In a total of 7 days, between us, we now have 33 crowns, 8 implants, one bridge and one partial denture! We can’t keep the smile off our faces!!
Thank you so much, Dr. Hung, my dentist Dr. Tan and my husband’s dentist whose name he has unfortunately forgotten, and the whole team at the clinic: technicians, dental nurses, radiologists, photographers, clerical staff and all of whom contributed to making our visits so enjoyable! I can’t believe I’m using the word enjoyable in relation to dental visits!! But it really was as I felt totally confident in Dr. Tan’s ability. He was so gentle, caring and an absolute perfectionist with everything he did.
We’re looking forward to returning in 12 months time to have the crowns attached to our implants and hopefully, have a bit more time as tourists. Incidentally, I would allow more than the seven days we had. It was very intense, but amazing that the team could complete the work they did under the circumstances.
I had chosen Dr. Hung’s Clinic firstly on recommendation from a friend of a friend who was very happy with the work she’d had done and secondly from doing lots of internet research and reading of reviews.
From the moment my husband and I entered Dr. Hung’s Dental Center we knew we had come to the right place. We were greeted by the most friendly team of clerical staff, who were always smiling and happy. We also met 4 other Aussies on the first day. All in various stages of treatment and all extremely happy with the decision they’d made to come to Dr. Hung’s clinic.”
